If you have stumbled across my profile here on Deviant Art, you may have noticed that I'm not really an artist, well not in the visual manner anyway. I am a story teller, a fantasy writer, a bloke with a mind that struggles to stay comfortable within our current reality. At the time of writing, I have just published my second novel in the Necrosanguin series, Silvaste's Spear.

"Woah, cool cover!" is probably what you blurted out if you clicked on the link. I would like to say thank you, however that awesome cover was all done by Liz Freeman (XxBattleLionessxX), so the credit is all hers! I originally joined Deviant Art to find myself a cover artist. It was a little scary at first, there are many artists on here, and it can be hard to find someone who does quality work without blowing your budget way out of proportion.

Commissioning Liz for my cover was a fantastic experience. She took an interest in my characters immediately, absorbing the words I threw at her for the cover idea, then brought my idea to life, far better than I had imagined! She kept me up to date on different stages of the cover, having the patience with me requesting little tweaks here and there. I've since commissioned her for another project, which is looking really awesome, and intend on working with her for more artwork in the future.
